The method of identifying the quality of blister cabinet door panels can be viewed from four aspects: base material quality, film quality, surface treatment and workmanship issues.


  1. Methods to identify substrate quality

The quality of the base material directly determines whether the cabinet door panel has the ability to absorb nails twice, the nail holding ability, the degree of deformation of the finished blister board, and the environmental performance of the finished blister board. The density of good blister door panel base materials is different from ordinary base materials. The best way to distinguish is to select small pieces of the same size panels and weigh them. The blister door panels with higher density are relatively tight. The ability will be better and the deformation will be smaller.


2. How to identify film quality

The quality of the film directly determines the grade and performance of the finished blister door panel. A good blister film must have a certain thickness, uniform adhesive backing, and stable color. If the thickness of the PVC film is low, whitening and orange peel will occur when covering the edges and corners. In order to deal with these two phenomena, some manufacturers choose to lower the pressure of the blister machine, which reduces whitening to a certain extent. There is a problem of sheet deformation, but the bonding strength between the PVC film and the base material cannot be guaranteed. The main problem caused by the uneven adhesive backing of the film is that the PVC film and the base material cannot be bonded normally. The PVC film itself cannot be bonded to the base material through the glue of the blister machine. Glue must be rolled on the back during production. We call it the adhesive. Whether the adhesive is uniform or not and its quality directly affects the adhesion between the PVC film and the base material. Color problem is the most noticeable problem of finished blister boards. Yellowing is an inevitable problem, but the stability of PVC surface texture and color must be guaranteed, otherwise it is likely to occur during the wiping process of normal use. Color fading problem.


3. Surface treatment of blister door panels

Surface treatment is related to the overall image of the finished blister board. If the orange peel phenomenon is severe, the entire door panel will look darker (the orange peel refracts light), and the high-gloss blister door panel will be very obvious at this point.


4. Workmanship issues of blister door panels

This is the most likely problem to cause trouble during use. The main problem is the adsorption at the corners. If there is glue opening, the blister cabinet door panel may absorb water and deform during use, and the PVC film itself may crack. When choosing, you can use your fingernails to use a little force to dig out the part where the PVC film is bonded to the board. A well-made blister board (including good adhesive backing and good adhesive glue) will not be pulled off with a little force.
